Social Media Design & Management

Pathway Health Corp. is a parent company that provides multidisciplinary pain management services throughout Canada. As part of my Capstone Project at NAIT, I led a team of two other designers in creating print and digital assets for two companies under Pathway Health Corp, IRP Health and The Clinic Network (TCN). Our primary goal was to design social media posts based on existing company branding to bring a clean and modern look to their existing social media accounts.

During the four months my team worked with Pathway Health, the most significant struggle we faced was trying to create content with minimal information available to us; this was due to government regulations under the Cannabis Act and a lack of publicly available information online. Unfortunately, this resulted in many mock-ups being thrown out and often multiple iterations of the same image to refine the information within it.

After the feedback process, I used Meta Business Suite to schedule the approved images. As well as designing social media posts, I wrote the copy for each post with a call to action to drive traffic to the client’s website.

At the end of our time with Pathway Health, my team had brought a refreshed and cohesive look to the client’s once inactive social media profiles, set up templates in Canva for the clients to make future posts, and gave some suggestions for what they could utilize in the future to bring more attention to their pages.
